NOTE:
Make sure that the drainage pipe
isn't jammed. If you use the water pump,
the difference in height between the pipe
and the drainage should not exceed 4,5
meters.
THE AIR FILTER
The air filter ensures that the cooling coils
are kept free of dust. The air filter is located
at the front of the machine. Access the air fil-
ter by removing the screws on the front and
removing the filter mesh. It is important that
the filter is kept clean so that air can flow
freely through the dehumidifier. The filter
should thus be cleaned when required.
1. Remove the filter
2. Wash it with warm water and a mild
cleansing agent. Alternatively the filter may
be vacuum cleaned.
3. Let the filter dry and put it back.
DEFROST
When the temperature of the copper tubes
o
is lower than -1
C, the machine will enter de-
frost mode. The machine will then run for 30
minutes and defrost for 15 minutes. When
in defrost mode, the compressor stops and
the fan continues to run. A defrost indicator
light is shown.
NOTE :
If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its ser-
vice agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid hazard.
MEMORY FUNKTION
When the unit is plugged in it shows the in-
door humidity. In the event of power failure,
the machine will automatically continue to
work according to set humidity when the
power returns. When the timer is activated,
the machine shows resting on and off time
WARNINGS:
Please take careful of safety when using this
machine:
1. Unplug the power supply before cleaning
and storage.
2. Do not dip the machine into the water or
keep near a water source.
3. Do not let the machine near heat equip-
ment or inflammable or dangerous goods
4. Do not put fingers or other objects into air
inlet or air outlet.
5. Do not stand on the machine
6. Do not use this machine in a sealed envi-
ronment to avoid fire
7. Be sure to drain the water downwards
so that condensate water can continue to
exclude.
HINTS:
- When the dehumidifier is used in
extremely damp environments or when the
temperature is below +10˚C, the dehumidi-
fier may stop working. A large amount of
ice builds up on the cooling coil. Turn off the
dehumidifier and place it a little above floor
level so that the ice will melt away.
- For maximum dehumidifying power in a
room, it is recommended that the air supply
from outside and from adjoining rooms is
minimized – close doors and ventilators.
- Increase temperature for faster dehumidifi-
cation (warm air carries more water.)
- Higher dehumidification in Autumn / Sum-
mer because outside air is warm and humid.
- If the power is stopped suddenly, the
machine will remain shut off for 3 minutes
before restarting automatically when the
power returns.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To clean the outside of the unit, use a soft
dry cloth. You can use a soft neutral agent
if the appliance is very dirty, but avoid any
abrasive tool or liquid. Do not spray water on
the unit. If the dehumidifier is not used for a
long period, unplug the unit, drain the water
manually and clean the filter. Store the unit
in a box or cover it to avoid the dust to build
in. Collect the power cord and store it in the
pocket on the back of the machine. Store the
machine in a clean, dry environment.
NOTE :
Always disconnect the cord
before cleaning.

chase is required for all warranty claims.
