5. OPERATION

1. Connect your E-guitar to the INPUT jack.
2. Connect the power adapter to the DC INPUT 14 V jack on the rear of the MA-80 and the mains plug
to a mains socket. Use the unit only with the supplied power unit. Always disconnect the mains
connector when you wish to change connections, move the unit to a different place or if the amplifier
is not used for a longer period.
3. Prior to switching on, turn the level and gain control to minimum (position "0") to avoid loud switching
noise.
4. Switch on the amplifier with the power switch. The power indicator lights up.
5. First set the volume control to average volume and advance the gain control until the amplifier is
close to overload, i.e. sounds of high volume are be distorted.
6. Adjust the sound with the tone control and determine the final volume with the volume control.
7. After operation, switch off the amplifier with the power switch.
