Example of connection setup
SDI to HDMI converter

Camera
• Connect a suitable HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI port (4) on the converter and the
HDMI input on an HDTV display device.
• Connect a suitable coaxial cable (not included) to the BNC SDI input (1) on the converter
and the output on an SDI signal source. Turn off the signal source before connecting it to
the converter.
• Connect the 5V/DC 1 A (3) low voltage socket to the low voltage connector on the power
adapter.
• Connect the power adapter to a suitable mains socket. The LED indicator (2) will turn on. The
product is now ready to use.
• Connect the signal source and the playback device to a power source and turn them on.
• The converter will convert the SDI signal into an HDMI signal. The HDMI video signal will be
displayed on the playback device and the audio signal will be played through the device's
speakers.
If the SDI audio signal is not sampled at 48 kHz, the HDMI signal will not contain an
audio signal.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the
product, therefore never open/dismantle it.
• The device does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning.
• Remove the product from the power supply and the connected devices before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Use a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not press too hard on the surface
when cleaning to avoid scratch marks.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
