Changing the oil
note:
• only use approved hydraulic oil (see "approved hydraulic oil")
• Dispose of old hydraulic oil through an appropriate disposal facility. never dispose of
hydraulic oil in the environment, as it could pollute waters.
• Change the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic jack every two to three years to increase its life
and ensure its functionality.
1. Dismantle the hydraulic jack (14) (see section "Dismantling the hydraulic jack").
2. Clean the hydraulic jack with a cloth to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulics.
3. Place the hydraulic jack inside a drain pan to collect any hydraulic oil being drained.
4. remove the fill plug (20).
5. Unscrew the bleed screw (24) all the way.
6. Drain all of the hydraulic oil into the drain pain.
7. replace the bleed screw.
8. Clean the hydraulic jack with a rag.
9. Place the hydraulic jack on a rag to catch leaking hydraulic oil.
10. add hydraulic oil to the bottom edge of the fill port.
11. replace the fill plug (20).
12. Bleed the hydraulic jack. (see section "Bleeding the hydraulic jack").

Bleed the hydraulic system
• if the hoisting cradle raises very slowly or not at all (poor pumping power),
• does not reach the full hoisting height,
• if the hoisting cradle lowers by itself after being raised.
note:
1. Disassemble the hydraulic jack (14) (see section "Disassembling the hydraulic jack").
2. raise the hydraulic post all the way using the lift pedal (19).
3. Then quickly operate the lift pedal another 6 to 8 times.
4. now slowly open the bleed screw (24) until you hear the trapped air escape. If hydraulic
oil leaks, the system has been bled.
5. repeat steps 3 and 4 if the hydraulic jack continues to pump poorly.
6. Check the oil level (see section "Checking the oil level").
7. reassemble the hydraulic jack (14) (see section "assembling the hydraulic jack").
Disassembling the hydraulic jack
1. step onto the release pedal (18) and lower the hoisting cradle (8) all the way.
2. remove the two screws (17) from the hydraulic jack (pay attention to the locking
washers and washers).
3. hold the hydraulic jack by the T-handle (1).
4. Unscrew the safety bolt (26) until the locking pin(21) is released.
5. hold on to the hydraulic jack and swivel the T-handle until you are able to remove the
hydraulic jack (14).
