SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
USING A PORTABLE DEHUMIDIFIER
Observe basic safety precautions when using the device:
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, do not allow water, liquid or flammable
detergents to enter the device.
•
Do not spray flammable sprays near the unit.
•
Before connecting the power supply, check that the voltage of the device corresponds
to the mains voltage.
•
Make sure the product is used and stored in a well-ventilated area.
•
During operation, leave at least 30 cm of free space on all sides of the appliance and at
least 50 cm above it.
•
Do not insert fingers or other objects into the air exhaust/intake port to prevent physical
damage or breakage of the device.

• In case of a malfunction, be sure to turn off the dehumidifier, unplug it from
the outlet, and contact the service center.
• Incorrect operation can lead to device failure, short circuit, fire and electric
shock, etc.
• Never turn off the dehumidifier simply by removing the plug from the outlet.
Always turn off the unit before disconnecting it from the power supply.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself.
• Connect and disconnect the unit only with dry hands to avoid electric shock.
• The unit must be connected to a separate 220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply.
• Remove the dust from the power plug and plug it into an outlet.
• To avoid the risk of fire or explosion, do not place flammable or chemical
substances near the unit.
• To prevent plastic parts from melting or catching fire, do not place the
dehumidifier near heaters.
• Do not plug the dehumidifier into an outlet with an electrical rating lower than
that of the dehumidifier.
• The power cord must not be damaged. Do not place hot or heavy objects on
the cord. Don't pull or tie it up while in operation.
• To avoid damaging of the power cord, do not pinch it with the door.
• Pour out the water that has accumulated in the condensate tank. Accidental
consumption of condensate or its use for other purposes may cause illness
and/or accidents.
• Danger of electric shock. Turn off the power before servicing the unit.
• Moving parts. Do not operate the device with the back cover removed.
• Danger of electric shock: The circuit breaker in the off position does not
supply all loads. The device must be installed in accordance with national
wiring regulations.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service center.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by a person responsible for
their safety or get from such person any instructions for use of the device, being
aware of the risks involved.
• Children are forbidden to play with the device. Prohibited for use by children
under 14 years of age.
• The dehumidifier must be used on a level surface.
• Do not use the dehumidifier outdoors. Exposure to direct sunlight or rain can
cause overheating, electric shock and fire.
• Do not place the condensate tank near the unit (in case of water spillage, it will
get inside the unit and cause damage).
• Never try to use the dehumidifier for other purposes, such as cooking, art
storage, etc.
• Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord before cleaning or other routine
maintenance.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not splash or spill water on the
dehumidifier during cleaning.
