Operating Instruction
01.
Safety and installation notes
This product is designed to work with regular mains switches (push button / mo-
mentary switch) and should be installed in a wiring box (flush-mounted/ surface-
mounted). Do not connect the product to the mains power line. It is powered
via the DALI-Bus..
For safety reasons always switch off power before working on the system!
Please read the instructions carefully before installation.
02. General information
switchDOT sends switching and dimming commands via the DALI bus. It can
control single or group addresses or all connected DALI units (broadcast mode).
switchDOT is used with regular mains push buttons.
The CE Declaration of Conformity for this product can be downloaded from the
website http:/ /shop.dilitronics.com.
03. Installation
Place the switchDOT in the installation socket of the switch or push button.
Make sure that no wires are bent or damaged.
04. Connection
cable 1 (grey): output of push button A on/brighter
cable 2 (grey): output of push button A off/darker
cable 3 (grey): output of push button B on/brighter
cable 4 (grey): output of push button B off/darker
cable Com 5 (black): common input of all push buttons
cables DALI 6, 7 (orange): DALI bus
The functionality of the module is independent of the polarity of the DALI bus.
