Dynamic EnErgy Unit DEU-Em
assEmbly anD installation:
• The Dynamic Energy Unit DEU-EM can only be operated in conjunction
with the Dynamic Energy Unit DEU-ST or DEU-SU.
• The following steps must always be performed before connecting an
DEU-EM with a DEU-ST or DEU-SU.
1. The supply voltage at the DEU-ST/DEU-SU must be switched off.
This means that the intermediate circuit must = 0 V.
2. all capacitors must be unloaded.
To do this, the connection cable included with the DEU-EM must be
inserted into plug connections X1 and X3. 20 seconds minimum waiting
time. The connection cable of X1 must then be removed and plugged
into the plug connection of the DEU-ST/DEU-SU X1. The waiting time
here is also 20 seconds minimum.
3. The connection cable of the DEU-EM must then be removed from X3
and plugged into X1. This makes the correct connection between the
DEU-EM and the DEU-ST/DEU-SU.
• The DEU-EM and DEU-ST/DEU-SU may only be connected using the
reverse polarity-protected connection cable provided by Moog.
• For further information, please also read the documentation of the
DEU-ST/DEU-SU and observe the connection and safety information
provided there before starting work.
