Area of application
The digital test pressure gauge is used to measure gas pressure. It is only suitable for checking
non-flammable and non-explosive gases. The device can be used with most of the Reflex
diaphragm expansion vessels (MAG).

* Depending on the device, up to 10.3 bar may be displayed on some devices.
If the measured value is greater than the maximum display value, "ERR" appears on the dis-
play.
Measuring gas pressure
1. Remove the valve protection cap of the diaphragm expan-
sion vessel at which you want to measure the gas pressure.
Note the optimal pre-pressure specified in the as-
sembly, operating and maintenance instructions for
the diaphragm expansion vessel.
2.
To switch on the digital test pressure gauge, press the
ON / OFF button. The display and the valve adapter light
up green.
To change the measurement units, press the
ON / OFF button again.
3.
Hold the valve adapter of the test pressure gauge against
the valve of the MAG.
Incorrect measurement result due to
incorrect operation!
An inadequate connection between the valve
adapter and the valve or inclined application of
the valve adapter can result in air leakage and
falsification of the measurement result.
Ensure that the valve adapter and the valve
are tightly connected during the measure-
ment.
Ensure that no air escapes. Escaping air is
recognisable as a hissing sound.

4. The measured gas pressure is shown on the display.
When reading, note the previously selected measurement
units.
5. The test pressure gauge switches off automatically after 30
seconds.
You can turn the gauge off manually by depressing the
ON / OFF button for five seconds.
6. After completing the measurement, replace the valve
protection cap on the diaphragm expansion vessel.

At the end of their service life, old batteries and the device must not be disposed
of with normal household waste, rather they must be correctly disposed of. Hand
in dead batteries at the designated collection points. Dispose of the device sep-
arately from unsorted household waste. Observe the laws applicable in your
country on waste recycling and disposal.
