Laying the Cable Set

It is possible to use one of the car's existing cable ducts
to lay the cable set. This applies to the connection of
the control lines, the connection to the power supply
as well as to the connection to the speaker.
RED +12V
ORANGE Control Signal TA
PURPLE Control Signal TZ
The procedure is described in the following steps.
You need a stable wire of approx. 1 m in length to

pull the cable set through the cable duct. Guide
this wire from the outlet through the cable duct
until it can be seen in the passenger footwell area.
Use the insulating strip to secure the cable leads

with the wire ends.
Carefully pull the wire back into the driver footwell.

Remove the insulating strip and wire from the
cable.

Connecting the Control Signals

The control signals for the central locking system are
often located on the driver or passenger side near the
fuse box.
Here, the signal for "Unlock Door" (TA) can be
connected with the orange cable and the signal for
"Lock Door" (TZ) can be connected with the purple
cable of the cable set.

Connecting the Power Supply

The power supply is best connected near the fuse box,
which is generally located in the driver or passenger
footwell.
For this, connect the red cable with +12V (clamp 30)
and the black cable with ground (clamp 31).
Using the Cable Clamps
Use the included cable clamps for the cable connection.
Bend the cable clamps upwards
slightly and insert both cables
into the cable clamps.
Close them manually and
complete the pinching with
universal pliers.
