Push the scooter forwards with your foot on the ground (as with non-motorised scooters). After

pressing the throttle lever on the right-hand side of the handlebars, tilt your body slightly
forwards so that you do not fall backwards while accelerating.
Always press the throttle carefully and adjust it to the current traffic situation. This will help you

avoid accidents.
When you brake, tilt your body slightly backwards and the scooter will slow down or stop.
¥
Your comscoot ECO PLUS has two brakes. You use the mechanical rear wheel disc brake with
¥
the brake lever on the right-hand side of the handlebar. You use the electronic brake with the
thumb lever on the left-hand side of the handlebar.
If the road surface is dirty, damp or wet, the braking distance is longer and there is an increased
¥
risk of accidents. Brake more carefully in such conditions. Always adjust your speed to the
prevailing weather and traffic conditions.
When travelling downhill, your comscoot ECO PLUS can reach a higher speed than 25 km/h.
¥
Brake your comscoot ECO PLUS to the maximum speed in good time.
Apply the brakes at intervals when travelling downhill to prevent the brake system from
¥
overheating.
Avoid your body pressing on the handlebars when accelerating and braking.
¥
Place one foot behind the other. It is more comfortable to place one foot forwards and turn the
¥
other 70-90 degrees. This gives you better balance and more stability when riding.
The handlebars should be parallel to your body on long bends. Take long bends by shifting your
¥
weight in the direction of the bend. Ride carefully and do not lean too much into the bend.
When cornering at slow walking speed, turn the handlebars carefully in the desired direction.
¥
Before cornering, make sure that other road users are not obstructed and that there are no
obstacles in the way.
Your comscoot ECO PLUS has a bell on the handlebar on the right. Press it with your right index
¥
finger.
CAUTION
There is a risk of injury and damage when riding. If you ride the comscoot ECO PLUS, you are
responsible for all associated risks.
It is important that you are fully aware of these safety rules, understand them and act accordingly.

PARKING

Your comscoot ECO PLUS has a kickstand. You can fold it in and out with your foot. To park, press
the kickstand down with your foot. Only park your comscoot ECO PLUS on a firm surface.
BATTERY
Your comscoot ECO PLUS is equipped with a high-performance battery. The handling and use
¥
of a battery is associated with risks and can lead to serious damage and accidents if handled
incorrectly. You should therefore follow the instructions very carefully.
The battery is permanently installed in your comscoot ECO PLUS. Never attempt to remove it
¥
or even open it. These tasks may only be carried out by an authorised specialist dealer.
ATTENTION
Do not operate the comscoot ECO PLUS during the charging process.
