Utilizare
Before you start
• Do not continue to apply pressure after the wrench clicks, as this may cause damage to both the wrench and the part
being tightened.
• When you have finished using the wrench, undo the lock nut and reduce the torque setting to the minimum level for storage.
Functions and settings
• Hold the torque wrench with the graduation scale facing up, and unlock the knurled handle by turning the lock nut
counter clockwise.
• Rotate the knurled handle until one of the zero graduations on the bevel edge is lined up with the vertical mark on the shaft, and is
level with the closest reading below the required setting (Fig. 1).
• Turn the knurled handle clockwise until the required torque value is set (Fig. 2).
NOTE: One full turn of the handle will adjust a different amount depending on the size of the torque wrench. Please refer to
Table 1 for the correct value.
• Once the required value has been set, lock the handle securely by turning lock nut clockwise and the wrench is now ready to use.
• Apply force to the torque wrench in a slow even movement until it "breaks" with an audible click, (indicating that the required
torque has been applied) and then release the pressure to reset.
• When you have finished using the wrench, undo the lock nut and reduce the torque setting to the minimum level for storage.
IMPORTANT Do not continue to apply pressure after the wrench clicks, as this may
cause damage to both the wrench and the part being tightened.
