3.2.7 Hub gear tuning
The brake freewheel works like a back-pedalling brake and has a neutral. The brake freewheel can be put in
reverse. The gears should be tuned at least every six months.
Tuning the gears:
•
Remove the protective hood and make sure that the hub is in 2nd gear.
•
Loosen the small nut which fixes the adjustment rod.
•
Position the end of the grip shift cable as indicated below by rotating the rod.
•
When the gears are tuned correctly, tighten the cable and mount the chain guard back in position
