Dirt in Regulator
Regulator oversized
Regulator and Evaporating Pressure Regulator have control
interaction
Regulator and Liquid Injection Valve have control
interaction
Regulator and cylinder unloaders have control interaction
Pressure adjusting stem is set at a point so high that suction
pressure never reaches the set point
External equalizer line upstream of evaporating pressure
regulator
Strainer clogged at the regulator inlet
MOPD exceeded across the solenoid or loss of supply

Operating Instructions
Pressure Regulator CPHE and ACP
Corrective Action
Clean Regulator
Refer to the selection table in Catalogue
Move external equalizer line downstream from the
Evaporating Pressure Regulator
Increase superheat setting. Dampen bulb response by
repositioning
Differential should be increased between the controls by
lowering the regulator's set point
Re-adjust the regulator acc. to operating instructions
Move external equalizer line downstream from evaporating
pressure regulator
Replace strainer
Replace solenoid or trouble-shoot the electrical problem
Determine cause and replace coil
Change valve or orifice
Install proper distributor for low pressure drop
Locate and remove dirt. Install strainer.
Re-adjust the regulator acc. operating instructions
Locate and remove stoppage
Increase line size or increase size of regulator
