Risk of injury & hygienic notices
Never allow the Fireplace Kamin Maxx to burn while unattended
p Children and pets do not recognise the risks associated with improper handling of
an open fire. For this reason, keep them away from the fireplace.
p Persons, who are not capable of using the product on the basis of their mental
and physical abilities or their lack of experience, may only use the product under
adult supervision.
p Keep the bioethanol out of the reach of children and pets. Also be sure to follow
the notices on the bioethanol bottle.
p Do not allow the bioethanol to come into contact with eyes, mucous membranes,
and skin and do not inhale the bioethanol vapours.
p When spilled on a wooden floor, bioethanol may leave behind lustreless marks.
p No food may be prepared over the fire.
p No other material may be burned
Danger of suffocation
Only use the fireplace in rooms of adequate size. The room size should amount to
at least 44 m , which corresponds to floor space of 20 m

p As the fire consumes the oxygen in the room's air, tilt open a window in order
to prevent a lack of oxygen or otherwise ensure that there is a sufficient supply
of fresh air. The first signs of insufficient oxygen are e. g. sudden fatigue and an
impaired ability to concentrate.
Fire hazard
When using the fireplace, no combustible or flammable objects or materials may
be located in a one metre radius.
p Maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm to the ignited fire and avoid moving within
the immediate vicinity of the flames.
p Never mount the product on walls made of flammable materials (a wooden or
plaster board wall is e. g. not suitable).
p Only hang the product on even, solid and non-flammable wall areas.
p Do not place any objects on or in the fireplace.
p Do not use the product while it is leaning against the wall.
p The vents on the back of the fireplace may not be covered or plugged when using
the product.
p Do not move the product when in use or if it has already been filled with
bioethanol.
p Do not operate the product above a heat source.
