To close
Pull the door closed and make sure that the top door lock is closed.
Note: (Figure 4).
The door swivels in both directions, unless one of the swivelling stops is pointed downwards. Place
the swivelling stop on the bottom end of the door in such a manner that it is directed downwards
on the side that the child is at. The door does not swivel at all if both swivel stops are at the bottom.
Note:
If the door opening width is 30°, then the door automatically closes (Figure 5).
If the door opening width is more than 90°, it remains open (Figure 6).
MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Parts should only be replaced with original spare parts, and by a specialist, in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications.
Use a cloth and warm soapy water for cleaning. Do not use cleaners or detergents containing
solvents; substances such as bleach can damage the product. Regular cleaning, checking and
maintenance increase the item's safety and service life.
Store the product in a dry place and out of the reach of children.
Proceed as follows to fold together in a space-saving manner:
1.
Loosen all the lock nuts between the individual elements to the extent that the safety gate
can be folded together.
2.
Fully release one lock nut. Afterwards, remove the tube, the lock nut and the locking screw.
3.
Pull apart the open ends of the safety gate and fold them together.
DISPOSAL
At the end of your product's long service life, please dispose of the valuable raw materials properly
so that proper recycling can take place. If you are not sure how best to proceed, local waste
disposal companies or recycling centres will be happy to help.
