I. Initial Setup

rotate.Wait untilatl three hands rotateto a fuli hour. Press
MODE againtostopthehandsfromrotating. N owpress
MODE asrequired untilthesecondhandalignswith12:00.
Allthreehandsshouldnowshowexactlyafullhour(e.g.10:00).
- PressSET. T heLCDdisplayshowsa flashing numeral.
- PressMODEuntiltheLCDdisplayshows thenumber o fthe
analoguehour (e.g. „10"for 10:00).
- press SET.
——The initial s etting isnowcomplete. Thewatch should nowrecei- -
vetheradiosignalandsetitselftothecorrect t ime.Thisprocess
will take upto 8 minutes.
2. Checking Radio Reception
Theradioclockwillattempt t o receive theDCF77 radio-control
signal e very daybetween 3 :00and4:00.However. interference
withreception m ight o ccur d ueto thunderstorms
disturbance.
- Press
SET.
- If the second hand rotatesto 12:00,the receptionattempt
was successful.
- If the secondhand rotatesto 6:00, the receptionattemptwas
not successful.
InbothcasestheLCDdisplayshowstheremaining seconds
running d own andthewatch returns t o thesaved radio time.
3. Manual Radio Reception Check
A manual c allforthetransmitter i s alwayspossible, b utmight
fail due to bad weatherconditionsor electronicdevicesin the
vicinity.
- Press MODE and hold for 5 seconds.
- TheLCDdisplayshowsthesignalreception. Theprocess will
take 3 - 8 minutes.

for 2 seconds.
- TheLCDdisplay showsH.R.for 3seconds andthenthe
internally saved hour.
- PressMODEstepwiseto set the new LCDdisplayedhour
