Instruction Manual:
The product you have bought is a top-quality
optical instrument. Please take a little time to
familiarise yourself with your new opera glasses
so that you will be able to enjoy using them to
the full.
WARNING:
Never look directly at the sun through the opera
glasses. Observing the sun in this way leads to
immediate and permanent eye damage and may
even send you blind. The damage is often pain-
less and the observer hence first notices it when
it is too late. Please therefore do not point the
opera glasses either directly at the sun or anywhe-
re near it.
1. Adjusting the Eye distance
This varies between individuals. Your opera glas-
ses have a folding bridge (1) that can be swivelled
arount the centre axis. The distance between the
eyes is correctly set if the user sees a single circu-
lar image (2). This setting is very important. It is
essential to obtain an optimal image.
2. Adjusting the focus
Turn the centre wheel (4) until the image is clear
and focussed. During setting the bridge is
moved forward or back. (Minimum distance to an
object to be observed is 5 meters)
