1. Installation
1. Do not place the sensor to be connected in direct
sunlight nor in the direct airflow of fans, as this may
influence the measurements. The sensor must be
mounted at a height of +/- 1 meter above the floor.
2. Mount the TechGrow Clima Eco Temp/Humidity Fan
Control on the wall with the supplied mounting kit.
3. Connect the sensor to the bottom of the Clima Eco
Temp/Humidity Fan Control.
4. Put the plug of the fan into the outlet of the Clima
Eco Temp/Humidity Fan Control.
5. Put the plug of the Clima Eco Temp/Humidity Fan
Control into an electrical outlet.
6. Ready!
2. Operation of the Clima Eco
Temp/Humidity Fan Control
The Clima Eco Temp/Humidity Fan Control controls the
minimum fan speed to create the desired room
temperature and the desired relative humidity level.
The fan control works on the basis of the set minimum
fan speed, the maximum fan speed (100%), the set
temperature, the set relative humidity and the hysteresis
(Temp 2 °C/RH 3%).
Temperature
Example
If the desired temperature is set to 27 °C and the
hysteresis is set to 2 °C, the temperature can be between
25 °C and 29 °C (27 °C - 2 °C / 27 °C + 2 °C).
If the temperature is below the set temperature minus
hysteresis (in this example, below 25 °C), the fan runs at
the set minimum fan speed.
If the temperature is above the set temperature plus
hysteresis (in this example, above 29 °C), the fan runs at
maximum fan speed (100%).
If the measured temperature is equal to the set
temperature (in this case 27 °C), the fan runs at idle
speed (see section 4.5).
Within the set hysteresis range (+/- 2 °C), the speed is
automatically reduced to the set minimum fan speed or
increased to the maximum fan speed (100%).
Relative humidity (RH)
If the current relative humidity (RH) is higher than the
RH set plus RH hysteresis, the fan speed will
automatically increase to extract more moisture.

Example
If the desired relative humidity is set to 50% and the
hysteresis to 4%, and the current value is 59%, the fan
speed increases.
NOTE If no sensor is connected to the Clima Eco
Temp/Humidity Fan Control, the fan runs
continuously at the set minimum speed.
3. Connecting sensor
The minimum sensor required is the Temp/RH Sensor.
Always switch the controller off if you want to replace
the sensor.
4. Control and set the Clima Eco
Temp/Humidity Fan Control
The Clima Eco Temp/Humidity Fan Control has 3 rotary
knobs to set the minimum fan speed, the desired room
temperature and the desired relative humidity level.
Hysteresis temperature: 2 °C. Hysteresis relative
humidity: 3%.
4.1 Minimum fan speed
After installing the Clima Eco Temp/Humidity Fan
Control the fan starts to run (the fan must be on). Set
the desired minimum fan speed "Min Fan Speed" (10% –
100%) by turning the left knob.
4.2 Relative humidity
Turn the middle knob to set the desired relative
humidity "RH Set" (40% – 90%).
4.3 Temperature
Turn the right knob to set the desired room temperature
"Temp" (15 °C – 35 °C).
4.4 Hysteresis
Hysteresis temperature: 2 °C.
Hysteresis relative humidity: 3%.
4.5 Idle speed
If the measured temperature in the room is equal to the
set temperature, the fan runs at idle speed. This fan
speed lies in the exact middle of the set minimum fan
speed and the maximum fan speed (100%). If the
