Care and maintenance

mechanical force. Store the device in a dry cool place. Please note that the parameters of the power supply must comply with the technical
characteristics of the device. Do not try to disassemble the device on your own for any reason. For repairs and cleaning of any kind, please
contact your local specialized service center. Only use accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications.
Never attempt to operate a damaged device or a device with damaged electrical parts! If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek
medical attention immediately.
Battery safety instructions
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one
time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior
to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries from equipment
that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high
temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off
devices after use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as
prescribed by your country's laws.

accessories are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for six months from the purchase date. The warranty entitles

are met.

Монтиране на батериите
Отворете капака на отделението за батериите и поставете 3 батерии, като спазвате знаците за поляритета. Затворете капака.
Да започнем
Функция "Оптичен източник на светлина"
Тази функция е предназначена за измерване на оптичната мощност.

Свържете единия край на оптичния кабел към съединителя за оптични комуникационни линии (1) на оптичния мултиметър;
свържете другия край на оптичния кабел към съответния съединител на външния оптичен светлинен източник (външно
устройство).

Включете външния оптичен светлинен източник (външно устройство).
Натиснете бутона ʎ (8), за да изберете стойност на дължината на вълната (850 nm, 1300 nm, 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm

или 1625 nm). Стойността на дължината на вълната на оптичния мултиметър и стойността на дължината на вълната на
светлинния източник трябва да бъдат еднакви.

Натиснете бутона dBm/W (3), за да изберете мерните единици, за измерване на абсолютната или относителната оптична
мощност.
Натиснете и задръжте бутона за захранване (4) натиснат за 3 секунди за включване/
изключване на устройството.
Натиснете бутона за захранване (4) за активиране/деактивиране на опцията за авто-
матично изключване, след което наблюдавайте съответната иконка на екрана. Когато
е активирана опцията за автоматично изключване, уредът ще се изключи автоматично
след 60 минути.
Натиснете бутона OP/SL (7) за превключване между функцията "Уред за измерване на
оптичната мощност" и функцията "Оптичен светлинен източник". Функцията "Уред за
измерване на оптичната мощност" е зададена по подразбиране.
