SPECIAL ATTENTION

Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When
plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this
coating is initially heated. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in
the unit. When using for the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke
dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds.
General use of the appliance
Before using the appliance, untangle your hair with a comb or a brush.
Use the appliance on dry or slightly wet hair, never use it on too wet, synthetic hair or wigs.
For a better result, use the appliance on clean, dry and untangled hair.
 Plug in the appliance.
 Let the appliance heat for about 5 minutes before using it.
 Unplug the appliance after use and let it cool down. Lock it before storing it.
WARNING
 The plates and the metallic parts become very hot during use. Do not touch these parts
and avoid contact with skins.
 If you have thin or fragile hair, too hot a temperature could damage or even burn them.
GOFFERING IRON
 Take a tuft. Open the crimp by pressing its lever and tighten the tuft in the crimp. Always
go from the root to the end of the hair.
 Let the tuft in the crimp for 10 to 15 seconds.
 Repeat this operation for all your hair.

CLEANING AND CARE

 Unplug the appliance and wait until it has fully cooled down before cleaning or storing it.
 Manually remove the hairs remaining on the curler so that they do not block the openings.
You might have to cut them with scissors.
 To clean the plates and the body of the unit, use a soft dry cloth.
 Never use detergents or abrasive products.
 Never wrap the cord lightly around the appliance. Never hang the unit by the cord.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.


In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under
International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced and
folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x
210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't change
the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.
