Tracking force adjustment
The tracking force adjustment should be done before
playing.
The tracking force must be adjusted to the
recommended
value
as shown
on
the instruction
sheet of the cartridge.
*
Rotate the BALANCE
WEIGHT
until the tone
arm is balanced evenly.
* When
the tone arm is balanced evenly turn the
SCALE RING alone until the "0"? on the SCALE
RING of the BALANCE WEIGHT is set over the
INDICATION LINE.
The tone arm is now set at
zero gram.

* Turn the BALANCE
WEIGHT
slowly until the
INDICATION LINE comes to the specified force.
The stylus tip will then be adjusted to the desired
tracking force.
ANTI-SKATING
KNOB
Match the anti-skating dial to the indicated line in
accordance with the tracking force of the cartridge
used.
PITCH CONTROL
KNOB
Pitch
control
should
be done
while
watching
the
stroboscope installed at the periphery of the platter.
Turn the pitch control knob slowly until the stripes
on the stroboscope appear still.
Turn the knob in
the FAST direction when the stripes flow rightward,
:
\ and in the SLOW direction when the flow leftward.

Perform installation or replacement of the cartridge
as follows.
*
Attach
the
cartridge
to the head
shell with
cartridge fixing screws.
The polarities and L,R channel of the lead wire of
the head
shell
are
shown
in Fig.
4.
The
connection
should
be done
according
to the
terminal indication of the cartridge.
SPEED
CHANGE-OVER
KNOB
The speed is changed to 33-1/3 or 45 rpm.
ARM LIFTER & AUTO CUT LEVER
* Arm lifter simultaneously used as auto-cut Lever
This lever has 3 change-over positions- UP, DOWN,
CLE
* When starting play
Remove the tone arm from its arm rest and set the
lever
to
"UP",
then
the
tone
arm
will
rise
gradually.
When the tone arm is moved above
the record, the turntable starts to rotate.
When the lever is set to ""DOWN'', the tone arm
gradually lowers and play starts.
To stop play halfway across a record (Auto-cut)
Pull the lever towards CUT and release your hand.
The tone arm automatically returns to the arm
rest
and
the power
to the player
is cut off.
To stop playing for a while
Set the lever to "'UP", and the
tone
arm rises
gradually and the record stops playing.
Stylus Replacement
When sound becomes distorted or noisy, check the
stylus to see whether it is worn out or not.
If worn
out, replace it with new one.
