BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials and make sure all items are in good
condition.
Clean the fondue pot, forks and fork ring holder in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
Wipe surfaces of heating base with a slightly damp cloth and dry.
OPERATION
This appliance can be used for a cheese fondue, a meat fondue a Chinese
fondue (broth) or a chocolate fondue.
1. Place the heating base on a level, stable, heat-resistant surface, away
from any edge.
Depending on the type of fondue you would like to prepare, put the

chocolate, cheese, oil or broth into the pot, observing the minimum
and maximum filling levels marked inside the pot.
CAUTION:
•
this canbe very dangerous.
• To melt quickly and evenly, it is
recommended to use diced or grated
cheese and chocolate broken in small
pieces.
3. Position the fork ring on the top of the fondue pot.
• Make sure that the rim of the fork ring sits firmly on the edge of the
fondue pot.
Plug the appliance into the mains socket, making sure that the cable

cannot be trapped or make the appliance tip over. The appliance
must be grounded.
• Make sure that the thermostat knob is set at the MIN position.
Turn the thermostat knob to the desired position.

• The red indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the appliance is
operating.
When you using the appliance for the first time, there may be a slight
•
odour and smoke emitted. This should disappear after a few minutes
and it is normal.
For the classic meat fondue, turn the thermostat knob to the MAX
•
position. For cheese, Chinese and chocolate fondue, it is
recommended to set the thermostat to the medium position.
During cooking, the red indicator light will cycle on and off to
•
maintain the set temperature.
