7.2 Connect power adaptor
1. Connect one end of the cable to the power input on the product.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable power supply.
7.3 Connect to computer
1. Connect one end of the cable to the USB-C® port on the product.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer.
8 Operation
8.1 Read/write to connected drive
Important:
Risk of data loss!
– Do not move or switch the product off during data transfer. For more information see section:
LED status indicators [} 4]
Preconditions:

Connected drives are formatted and partitioned before use. Refer to the operating system instruc-
tions for information about how to do this
1. Press the power button to switch the power ON. Wait a few moments for each drive in the enclos-
ure to appear.

Each drive will appear as a separate drive letter.
2. Drag and drop files to the desired drive(s).
3. When data transfers are complete, press the power button to switch the power OFF.

9 Troubleshooting
Problem
A drive is not recognized by your com-
puter
Slower transfer speeds than expected.
The red status light is flashing
10 Cleaning
Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They dam-
age the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Switch the product off.
2. Let the product cool down to ambient temperature.
3. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

Secure a compatible drive to the tray
using the included screws
1. Slide the tray into an available slot.
2. Gently push the tray all the way in
to secure the SATA connection.
3. Close the door when finished.

Check the capacity does not exceed the limitations of
the operating system.
Check the drive is correctly formatted for your operating
system.
Check that the USB drive on your computer supports
data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps.
Copy large files to one drive at a time.
The drive is damaged or contains errors. Check the
drive and repair or replace if needed.
11 Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU
market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted muni-
cipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it sep-
arately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not
enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-de-
structive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-destructive
manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
