IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a
danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
Never let the children use the appliance when the brush head is not placed on the power unit.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not set up the charging base on the edge of a sink, a bath or a shower.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before plugging in the adapter, check that your mains voltage corresponds to that of the adapter.
Never use any other adapter than that supplied with the appliance. Never use the adapter for any
other purpose.
Do not use the appliance if the adapter or its cord is damaged. The adapter is not repairable, it
has to be returned to the seller during guarantee period or thrown away when the guarantee has
expired. In that case it has to be replaced by an identical model.
Never use the appliance with its adapter outside and always place it in a dry environment.
When you decide to dispose of the appliance, make sure to remove the battery and to dispose of
it in an ecological manner by handing it in at a place destined to this end
FIXATION OF THE WALL-MOUNTED BRACKET
Put the bracket against the wall
Take a pencil and mark a dot in each hole situated at the back of the bracket
Take the bracket off the wall and drill a hole on each dot you just marked.
Put a plug in the holes, put the bracket against the holes and screw it without forcing.
To fix the appliance on the bracket, slide it from top to bottom in the appropriate slot
CONNECTING
The charging unit can be connected to a conventional powerpoint- between 230-240 volts ac (-).
Place the rechargeable power unit, facing the front onto the charging base.
The green charge indicator will light up, when the power unit is inserted on the plugged-in
charging unit.
The power unit may warm up somewhat during recharging. This has no significance on the
unit's operation. Overcharging is impossible.
To maintain the power unit's full performance, it should always be stored on the charging unit
after use.
FIRST USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BATTERY
Before the first use and to prolong the life of the battery, it is necessary to charge it completely during
16 hours, then to drain it fully during the use. Then recharge it completely. Once you have done this,
you can leave it on the charger base after each use. This process of full charge/full drain should be
repeated every 6 months.
