The foot of the support rod is co-
vered in a rubber tip, and they rest
on the top of the rear face bar. The
bend of the support rod may need
tweaking to fit your car.
Remove the factory hinge pin and
replace it with the special long
pin/bolt supplied with the rack.
The length of pin may require some
trimming to properly fit the hinge.
