SC132 ist eine detailgenaue Reproduktion der in den 60er
Jahren von B.M.C. gelieferten Gepäckträger.
Diese Anbauanleitung ist eine Handreichung für den Fach-
mann.
Alle Arbeiten an Kraftfahrzeugen sollten nur von Fachwerk-
stätten ausgeführt werden. Beachten Sie das maximale
Zuladungsgewicht des Gepäckträgers und befestigen Sie die
Packstücke verkehrsicher mit entsprechenden reißfesten
Spanngurten. Vergessen Sie nicht den Zustand des Gepäck-
trägers und der Packstücke in den Fahrtpausen zu kontrollie-
ren.
SC132 is an authentic reproduction of the rack supplied in the
sixties by B.M.C. when the cars were current.
These installation instructions are a guide for the specialist.
All work on motor vehicles should only be carried out by
specialist workshops. Observe the maximum payload weight
of the luggage carrier and fasten the packages in a roadworthy
manner with appropriate tear-resistant tension straps. Do not
forget to check the condition of the carrier and the packages
during breaks in the journey.
Le porte-bagage ref. SC132 est la reproduction exacte des
porte-bagages livrés par B.M.C dans les années 60.
Ces instructions de montage sont destinées au spécialiste.
Tous les travaux effectués sur des véhicules devraient être
faits dans des ateliers spécialisés. Il faut tenir compte du
poids de chargement maximal et il faut également fixer les
bagages avec des courroies solides en respectant le code de
la route. Pendant les pauses il ne faut pas oublier de contrô-
ler le porte-bagages ainsi que les bagages.

Pflegehinweis
Die Verchromung ist im mikroskopischen Maßstab porös.
Regelmäßige Pflege mit einem Polierwachs versiegelt die Mi-
kroporen und verhindert, daß Feuchtigkeit zwischen Chrom
und Stahl eindringt, so daß die Chromschicht allmählich
verdirbt (die berüchtigten „Pickel").
Wir empfehlen Schutzwachs für Chromteile (Best.-Nr. 348641).
Care of boot racks
Chrome plating by its very nature is porous, therefore it will
help to prolong the life of this rack if the following instructions
are adhered to.
Prior to fitting please wax and polish the complete rack using a
good quality car wax.
After fitting, rain water, spray etc should be removed by leathe-
ring or washing & leathering, with occasional rewaxing.
For the care we recommand Protection wax (Part-No. 348641)
Entretien
La couche de chrome est poreuse à l'échelle microscopi-
que. En utilisant régulièrement une cire à polir, les pores
microscopiques sont scéllées et cette opération empêche à
l'humidité de pénétrer entre le chrome et l'acier et d'abîmer
la couche de chrome (les „célèbres boutons").
Nous recommendons une cire de protection pour pièces en
chrome (ref. no.348641).
