3. Focus / adjust / focus the diopters

To adjust the focus, use the centre drive, also called the focusing
wheel (1), and the right eyepiece with the diopter adjustment (2).
•
First close the right eye and adjust the focus with the focusing wheel
(1).
•
Focus wheel (1) to focus the image in the left half of the binoculars.
•
Then close your left eye and - if necessary - adjust the focus of the
right half of the binoculars with the diopter adjustment (2).
•
Diopter adjustment (2) by turning the right eyepiece.
•
The setting for the dioptre compensation (2) has a scale with the signs
„+" and „-" and has a „0" as a reference point.
•
For further focusing at different distances, you only need to operate the
focusing wheel (1).
