If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
h) Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry,
clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery
handles and grasping surfaces do not allow
for safe handling and control of the tool in
unexpected situations.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.

FOR WEED BURNER
Before using the appliance check the
following:
Make sure the rated voltage of the
weed burner corresponds with your
local mains voltage.
Make sure the mains lead and the
mains plug are in a good state:
strong, without ravels or damages.
• Prevent damage to the heating element. Do
not lock or block the flow of air from mouth
piece.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when
switched on.
• Do not use the appliance for drying hair.
• Do not direct the flow of hot air at persons or
animals.
• Do not use the appliance above water or in
spaces where easy inflammable liquids are
used.
• The appliance is suitable for outdoor use only.
• Ensure the appliance is properly positioned.
• Unplug the appliance before removal from the
fire.
• Allow the appliance to cool down before
storage.
• Do not allow the hot parts of the appliance
to touch the mains lead or other flammable
material.
If the appliance is not used with care, it can result
in fire:
– be careful using the appliance in places where
there are combustible materials;
– do not apply at the same place/spot for a long
time;
– do not use in presence of an explosive
atmosphere;
– be aware that heat may be conducted to
combustible materials that are out of sight;
– place the appliance on its stand after use and
allow it to cool down before storage;
– do not leave the appliance unattended when it
is switched on.
Do not use the appliance during rain or
under moist circumstances.
The metal mouth piece gets hot
during use. Be careful and do not touch
the metal mouthpiece while the
appliance is in use. Be aware that the
mouth piece will remain hot for some
time even after the appliance has been
switched off.
This appliance operates at a
temperature of 600°C without visible
signs of this temperature (there are
no visible flames). Be aware of the risk
of fire or burns and watch out for the hot
air stream from the mouth piece! This air
stream can cause burns or start fires if
the appliance is not handled properly.
Always keep a safe distance from
evergreens, pine needles and all
conifers. Pine needles pose a fire hazard
as they are highly flammable and easily
ignited by the hot air stream from the
weed burner.
