POWER SUPPLY
These walkie-talkies operate on 1 x 3.6V
550mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for each walkie-talkie (included) and a 6.0V
DC 200mA charging base (included) or 6 x 1.2V DC AAA batteries (not included).
Remove the belt clip on the rear of the walkie-talkie will allow you to access the battery door.
To remove the belt clip
It is easier to fit the batteries without the belt clip in place.
Pull the tab forward (away from the handset) to release the belt clip. Then lift the belt clip off.
Installing batteries:
1. Open the battery compartment located under the unit.
2. Insert the 3.6 V
550 mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery, or 3 x 1.2 V DC AAA batteries,
respecting the polarity indicated on the bottom of the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. The walkie-talkies will automatically power on and are ready for use.
To fit the belt clip
Slide the belt clip down into the slot until it clicks into place.
Charging the unit
Plug the adapter into the AC outlet on the back of the charging base. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
You can then place the walkie-talkies on the charging base.

SAFETY INFORMATION
• To reduce radio frequency exposure when you're using your TW45Zseries, hold the handset at least 5cm (2 inches) from your face.
• Never use your walkie-talkies outdoors in a thunderstorm.
• Don't use your PMR in the rain.
• If your PMR becomes wet, turn it off and remove the battery pack. Dry the battery compartment and leave the battery cover off for
a few hours.
• Don't use the PMR until it is completely dry.
• Keep the PMR out of the reach of babies and young children.
• Battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
• The device complies with RF specifications when used near your body. Keep a distance of 2.5 cm from the body. Ensure that the
device accessories, such as a device case and device holster, are not composed of metal components. Keep the device away from
your body to meet the distance requirement.*

FUNCTIONS
Switching the walkie-talkies on and off: To turn the walkie-talkies on and off, hold down the on/off button
seconds. You will hear a musical tone each time to confirm.
Volume control: To adjust the loudspeaker volume, press the ▲ or ▼ button.
Changing the channels: Your walkie-talkie has eight channels, numbered 1 to 8. To communicate with other walkie-talkie users
within the range, you must all have your walkie-talkie tuned to the same channel. Press the
current channel number flashes on the display. Press the ▲ or ▼ buttons to go to the channel you want. Press the
confirm the channel setting.
Speaking to another walkie-talkie user: Press and hold the
button. Walkie-Talkie transmission is 'one way-at-a-time' -
while you are speaking, you cannot receive a transmission. Make sure to release the

RINGTONE: If you need to call your partner to get their attention, push the

Active Channel Search (SCAN): When the SCAN function is on, the unit will scan all eight channels until it finds one that
another user is transmitting on. Press and hold the "S" button (3 in the diagram) for 1 second to start the scan. When the unit
detects an active channel, it stops on that channel. Press ▲ to continue scanning channels 1 through 8. Press the key
to end the scan and communicate.

power level. The display shows "L" when low power is selected. Low power can extend battery life, but reduces transmission
range.

Transmitting range
• The talk range depends on environmental and terrain. It will be greatest (up to 5km) in wide open spaces, without
obstructions such as hills or buildings. If you are having issues with communicating, it is recommended to be in a location
with less traffic and less surrounding noise.
• Don't try to use two walkie-talkies which are less than 1.5m (5 feet) apart. lf you do, you may get interference.
• PMR446 is an open-license band - always identify yourself when transmitting, as other people may be communicating on
the same channel.

STROMVERSOGUNG
Diese Walkie-Talkies werden mit 1 x 3,6 V

Entfernen Sie den Gürtelclip an der Rückseite des Walkie-Talkies, um auf die
Batteriefachabdeckung zuzugreifen.
Nehmen Sie Den Gurtclipab
Die Batterien lassen sich ohne Gurtclip leichter einlegen.
Ziehen Sie die Abdeckung nach vorne (vom Gerät weg), um den Gurtclip zu entfernen. Ziehen Sie
den Gurtclip dann ab.
Batterien einlegen:
1. Zum Einlegen der Batterien das Batteriefach an der Rückseite des Gerätes.
2. Legen Sie den 3,6 V
550 mAh Ni-MH-Akku oder 3 x 1,2 V DC AAA-Batterien ein und
beachten Sie dabei die auf dem Boden des Batteriefachs angegebene Polarität.
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
4. Die Walkie-Talkies schalten sich automatisch ein und sind einsatzbereit.
Gurtclipbefestigung
Schieben Sie den Gurtclip in den Schlitz, bis er einrastet.
Aufladen des Geräts
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzadapters in die Wechselstrombuchse auf der Rückseite der Ladestation. Stecken Sie das
andere Ende des Netzadapters in eine Steckdose. Anschließend können Sie die Walkie-Talkies auf die Ladestation stellen.

Nicht wieder aufladbare Batterien können nicht aufgeladen werden. Aufladbare Batterien müssen vor der Aufladung aus dem Spielzeug genommen werden.
Batterien dürfen nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen aufgeladen werden. Unterschiedliche Batterietypen bzw. alte und neue Batterien dürfen nicht gemischt

der Polaritätsmarkierungen eingelegt werden. Leere Batterien müssen aus dem Spielzeug enommen werden. Die Anschlüsse dürfen nicht kurz geschlossen
werden. Batterien niemals ins Feuer werfen. Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Spielzeug für längere Zeit nicht benutzen. Wenn der Sound schwächer
