9 Operation
After installation, is important to check the corrective function to safety socket outlet. Press the
Reset button, and then press the test button, the unit must trip. In addition, check with a suitable
tester that the power is actually switched off.
Safety socket outlet must not be used if it has not passed this function test.
Test the function of the safety socket from time to time e.g. every month.
The test can be carried out as follows:
1. Press the Reset Button.
2. Press the Test Button, the unit must trip.
3. Press the Reset Button again.
The user must ensure that the equipment is suitable for the intended operating conditions

at the point of use, operating position, climatic conditions.
Damaged electrical equipment must not be used. Particular attention must be paid to

kinked or damaged cables.
Improper use (e.g. pulling the connector at the cable, dropping from a great height, throw-

ing, ect.) is not permitted.
In order to minimise wear of connectors and sockets, we recommend that electrical con-

sumers be unplugged / disconnected when switched off.
If the system allows connectors of a certain IP connection class to be inserted in plugs of

another IP protection class, then the fact that the resulting IP protction class of the connec-
tor/ socket combination corresponds to the lower of the two must be taken into account.
Any use of the Personal protection socket equipment going beyond use for the intended

purpose will void all guatantee, warranty and/or liability claims.
