Replacing the cartridge with headshell
When
you have mounted or replaced the

You can easily tock and detach the head
shell by rotating the locking nut.

Perform
installation
or replacement
of
the cartridge as follows:
The polarities and

When sound
becomes distorted or noisy,
check the stylus to see whether it is worn
out or not. !f worn
out, replace it with
new one.

has 3 change-over

When starting play
Remove the tonearm @) from its arm rest
and set the lever to '"¥'', then the
tonearm
will
rise gradually.
When
the
tonearm
is moved above the record, the
platter @ start to rotate.
When the lever is set to ""¥'', the tone-
arm gradually lowers and play starts.

keep
the
4—7 mm
clearance
between the stylus and the record, with
the
record
positioned
on
the
platter.
(Check
that the arm guide is in the UP
position.)
If it is not possible to obtain this clea-
rance, loose the arm guide fixing screw
and
then adjust the height of the arm
guide. (See Fig. 12)

Head shell
When
you
use the other type of head shell
having
large finger lift, please open
or re-
move
the dust cover to get normal
auto-
matic playing.

To stop play halfway across a record
(Auto-cut)
Pull the
lever towards
"CUT"
and re-
lease
your
hand.
The
tonearm
auto-
matically returns to the arm rest and the
power to the turntable is cut off.
To stop playing for a while
Set the lever to''¥'', and the tonearm
rises
gradually
and
the
record
stops
playing.
