CLEAN MODE
The Sonic Generation® is made for different uses. Depend-
ing on the user's needs, it is possible to change the clean
mode.
Selection of cleaning modes, and
memory-function
Select the different modes by repeatedly pushing the
MODE SELECTION button. The Sonic Generation® remem-
bers the last chosen mode so that it does not have to be
selected the next time you activate the device (Memory
function).
Clean mode SENSITIVE
By selecting SENSITIV E mode the upper LED-light glows.
The sonic waves that move with a speed of up to 45.000
strokes per minute allow the micro fine KONEX® bristle tips
to vibrate gently and penetrate even the smallest dental
spaces. This extremely smooth and efficient way of clean-
ing is very gentle on enamel, gums and exposed dental
necks. We recommend the SENSITIVE mode especially to
people with sensitive teeth, exposed dental necks, peri-
odontitis, implants, bridges, and other dental replacement
solutions. This mode is ideal for regular care of teeth with
fluoride gel.
Clean mode INTENSIVE
By selecting INTENSIVE mode the two upper LED-lights
glow. The surges of the sonic technology create a puls-
ating flow of fluid which easily penetrates even the nar-
rowest dental spaces, and neutralizes harmful debris, even
in hidden niches. This mode assures ideal cleaning and
health of your teeth. For healthy teeth it is recommended
as the basic mode.
