Before first using it is necessary to saw the strip
(E2) to size.
1. Place a saw blade with a fine saw cut.
2. Turn in the adjustment guides (13) as far as
possible.
3. Secure the rail on a suitable piece of scrap
wood.
4. Set the saw in a minimum depth position.
5. Carry out the cut over the full length of the
rail, so that the strip is sawed to the right size.
Replacing a saw blade (fig. A + F)
Always disconnect the power plug from
the mains supply before you replace a
saw blade.
Always wear protective gloves when
replacing a saw blade.
1. Press and hold the shaft lock button (17).
2. Unscrew the saw blade screw (4) with the 5
mm hexagonal key and remove the screw
and the flange.
Note: the saw blade screw has left-hand
screw thread.
3. Remove the saw blade and place a new saw
blade.
Make sure that the rotation direction on
the saw blade corresponds with the
rotation direction indicated on the
machine.
SOLVING PROBLEMS
Problem
The machine does not
switch on.
The saw blade does not
rotate.
Poor cutting result.
The saw blade gets hot.
The saw blade vibrates
abnormally.

5. Rotate the saw blade by hand in order to
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• After every use, clean the ventilation slots with
a brush in order to prevent overheating.
• Regularly clean the housing of the machine
with a soft cloth, possibly dampened with a
mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
Maintenance of the guide rail
Prevent dust or waste from accumulating. Clean
the rail with a brush after every use.
If necessary, spray a lubricant on the rail, so that
the saw keeps going smoothly.
Storage
Always store the machine in a dry, frost-free
place, away from children.
Solution
Check if the power cord has been plugged in correctly.
The carbon brushes may be worn. Contact your supplier.
The saw blade is blocked. Unplug the power cord and end the blocking.
Check if the saw blade has been placed correctly.
The saw blade is worn or damaged. Replace the saw blade.
The saw blade is blocked. Unplug the power cord and end the blocking.
Connect a vacuum cleaner to the dust outlet.
Check if the saw blade has been placed in the correct rotation direction.
Check if the saw blade screw has been tightened firmly.
and tighten them with the hexagonal key.
check if the blade rotates freely.
Always disconnect the power plug from
the mains supply before cleaning the
machine or before carrying out
maintenance.
Never use solvents such as alcohol,
petrol, ammonia and household
cleaning products containing ammonia.
These products may damage the
synthetic parts.
