6.5 Messages / Audible signals

6.5.1 Side arms and two heating elements in wrong position
➥ The display f shows the correct way to position the side arms or the two
heating elements 1 in an animated image.

Follow the instructions in the display f.
•
After correcting the position:
➥ The appliance begins the selected treatment.
Recommended position of the side arms in the treatment programme <Drying>:
The side arms can be positioned anywhere in the treatment programme <Drying>.
However, both side arms must be positioned alike – either "out" or "in".

We recommend you fold in the appliance side arms for efficient drying.
➥ The appliance shows this recommendation visually by illustrating the optimal
way to position the side arms in an animated image.
•
It is only necessary to fold out the side arms if you have put in very large cur-
lers on the side of the customer's head.
6.5.2 Appliance in wrong position in relation to customer / Moving out
of appliance

1. Check the position of the appliance as described in "section 6.2" page 62.
