Storage:
Storage Instruction for non-installed batteries: The batteries should
be stored in partial charged state (SOC: 40%~60%) in a dry room with
good ventilation, low humidity, and no corrosive gas. Batteries should be
stored independently without heavy objects on them.
Storage temperature is as below:
First month: -10 ~ +40°C
First 3 months: 0 ~ +35°C
After 3 months: 0 ~ +20°C
For storage longer than 3 months, you must charge & discharge the
batteries every 3~6 months to ensure the battery's performance. Follow
the below steps on how to do this:
1. Charge the battery at 20A or a small charge current to full at CC/CV
mode
2. Rest for about 10 ~15 mins
3. Discharge the battery at 20A to 10V
4. Rest for 10 ~ 15 mins
5. Charge the battery at 20A to around 13.5V (or 40%~50% SOC), stop
charging.
6. Then store the battery again.
***Never store the battery at a fully discharged state or install it on a load
at a fully discharged state, the battery might be over-discharged by a very
small self-discharge current, which will damage the battery cell structure
and affect the battery performance, cause low voltage or 0V battery , or even
potential risk if serious.
***Never store the battery at a fully charged state, as at this state the self-
discharge of the battery cell is higher than partial charged state. The battery
capacity may suffer degrading, and it cannot fully recover by recharging.
