Operational Instructions
Charging:
Charge current: The charge current should not be more than the
maximum charge current specified in this user manual (60A). Charging
with a higher current may damage the battery or even lead to safety
problems, such as a fire or explosion.
Charge voltage: The charge voltage should not more be than that
specified in this user manual (14.6V). Never charge the battery in series
and be sure that each single battery has a separated charging circuit
with a maximum charging voltage of 14.6V or the battery may become
overcharged, and cause potential risks.
Charge Temperature: The battery must carry out the charge in the
ambient temperature scope which specified in this user manual.
Reverse Charging: Please make sure the polarities of the battery are
connected properly before charging. Reverse charging cannot charge the
battery but will deteriorate the battery's charging/discharging and safety
characteristics, or even lead to a fire or explosion.
Charge Method: CC/CV (please use constant current and constant
voltage to charge the battery). If using a trickle charging method, please
consult FALCON first.
Charger: Please use an approved or specified charger to charge the
battery. Using a charger which does not match the charging voltage or
charge current may damage the battery's BMS, leading to potential risks.
Discharging:
Discharge current: The discharge current should not be more than
the maximum charge current specified in this user manual (150A).
Discharging with a higher current may damage the battery or even lead
to safety problems, such as a fire or explosion.
