Safety notes
• Installation and initial operation must only be carried out by a
qualifi ed electrician.

Correct use
The wireless receiver "R-Con 2P" serves the automatic control of
fresh air supplied by fans or a ventilation system. Signals which are
provided by the wireless Oventrop thermostat "R-Tronic RTFC K"
featuring a carbon dioxide (CO ) sensor are evaluated by the

"R-Con 2P". If a CO alert threshold (freely defi nable at the thermostat)

in a room is exceeded, the volt free switching output of the wireless
receiver will be switched for the control (ON/OFF) of a ventilation
system connected to the "R-Con 2P".
Any use of the wireless receiver outside the above applications will
be considered as non-compliant which especially applies to the
control of electric actuators for the automatic opening and closing
of windows. This type of application is inadmissible as it may lead to
injuries caused by crushing.

WARNING
Risk of crushing in case of inadmissible type of
application!
Tensile and compressive forces which occur when opening or
closing a window automatically may lead to crushing of limbs
when reaching between the casement and frame.
• The wireless receiver "R-Con 2P" must not be used for the
control of motorized window actuators.

• Electrical connections must only be carried out by a
qualifi ed electrician.
• The following 5 safety rules must be observed:
- Disconnect
- Protect against accidental restart
- Check that no voltage is present
- Earth and short-circuit
- Cover adjacent live parts.
• Installation must only be carried out in dry indoor areas.

Utilisation conforme
Le récepteur radio «R-Con 2P» sert au contrôle automatique d'air
frais amené par des ventilateurs ou par une installation de ventilation.
Les signaux transmis par le thermostat radio Oventrop «R-Tronic
RTFC K» avec sonde CO sont traités par le récepteur radio. En

cas d'atteinte d'un seuil d'alerte CO
