für Fehlerstromschutzschalter mit eingebautem Über­
stromauslöser der Baureihe DRCBO 2 und DRCBO 3
Diese Bedienungs- und Montageanleitung richtet sich an die Elektro-
fachkraft. Aufgrund erheblicher Gefährdungspotenziale ist der Einbau
von Geräten dieser Art nicht für den elektrotechnischen Laien geeignet.
Die Bedienungs- und Montageanleitung ist aufzubewahren, um ein
späteres Nachschlagen zu ermöglichen. Der Betreiber der elektrischen
Anlage ist über die Anwendung und Funktion dieses Schutzgerätes auf-
zuklären.
Anwendungs­ und Warnhinweise
1. Geräte mit sichtbaren Beschädigungen dürfen weder montiert noch
verwendet werden.
2. Um die korrekte Auslösefunktion langfristig zu erhalten, ist ein Betrieb nur unter
normalen, Schadgas freien Umgebungsbedingungen zulässig. Schadgase sind
z. B. Chlor, Ammoniak, Schwefel.
3. Der Funktionstest über die Testtaste ersetzt nicht die regelmäßige Prüfung
der Anlage.
4. Eine Fehlauslösung kann aufgrund von betriebsbedingten Ableitströmen oder
atmosphärischen Störungen nicht mit letzter Sicherheit ausgeschlossen werden.
Die Folgen müssen bedacht und ggf. Gegenmaßnahmen getroffen werden.
Kurzzeitverzögerte oder selektive Geräte sowie Überspannungsschutzmaß-
nahmen und Anlagenoptimierungen können Abhilfe schaffen.
5. Lässt sich der RCBO nicht einschalten, auch nicht, wenn das Verbrauchernetz
nicht angeschlossen ist, muss das Gerät ausgetauscht werden.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Montage
Schutzschaltgeräte der Baureihe DRCBO 3 sind Fehlerstromschutzschalter mit
eingebautem Überstromauslöser (RCBO), auch als „FI/LS-Kombination" bezeichnet.
Sie dienen in elektrischen Anlagen dem Schutz durch automatische Abschaltung
z. B. nach VDE 0100 Teil 410. Entsprechend ihrer Kenndaten im Typenschild erfüllen
sie die Anforderungen sowohl für den Fehlerstrom- als auch für den Leitungsschutz.
Als Reiheneinbaugeräte sind sie für den Einbau in Installationsverteilern oder Gerä-
teeinbaugehäusen zur Montage auf Tragschiene TS 35 konzipiert. Der Berührschutz
nach Schutzklasse 2 muss mit Hilfe der zugehörigen Geräteabdeckungen
sichergestellt werden.
Eine auch für Laien zugängliche Testtaste ermöglicht den Test der Abschaltfunktion.
Ein gelegentlicher Test kann zudem die Lebensdauer des Schutzschalters erhöhen,
da die Mechanik beim Auslösen bewegt wird.
Installationshinweise
Die Montage erfolgt durch Aufschnappen auf die Tragschiene. Der Anschluss ist ent-
sprechend des Schaltbildes vorzunehmen. Die Klemmenpaare 1/N und 2/N bzw. 1/3
und 2/4 sind zum Anschluss des Einspeise- und des Verbrauchernetzes zu verwenden,
wobei die Energieflussrichtung beliebig ist.
Prüfungen und Funktionskontrolle
Nach Einschalten der Netzspannung und des Schutzschalters ist ein einfacher Funk-
tionstest mit Hilfe der Testtaste T vorzunehmen. Durch Drücken muss der RCBO
abschalten, der Knebel befindet sich in der Nullstellung und die Ausgelöst-Anzeige
„I Δ > I ΔN" (Auslösung durch Fehlerstrom) erscheint blau. Die Betriebsanzeige
unterhalb des Knebels zeigt den Status der Kontakte an: rot = geschlossen, grün
= g eöffnet. Dieser Test ist unter normalen Betriebsumständen mindestens halb-
jährlich, bei nicht ortsfesten Anlagen arbeitstäglich zu wiederholen. Bei Nichtaus-
lösung muss das Gerät unverzüglich ausgetauscht werden. Der Betreiber ist hierauf
hinzuweisen. Alle weiteren Prüfungen sind durch die vorgeschriebene Abnahme-
prüfung abgedeckt. Abhängig vom Einsatzort sind Prüfungen nach DGUV Vorschrift
3 (BGV A3) vorzunehmen.
Gewährleistung
Für fachgerecht montierte, unveränderte Geräte gilt ab Kauf durch den End-
verbraucher die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Die Gewährleistung bezieht sich
nicht auf Transportschäden sowie Schäden, die durch Kurzschluss, Überlastung oder
bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch entstanden sind. Bei Fertigungs- und Material-
fehlern, die innerhalb der Gewährleistungsfrist erkannt werden, leistet unser Werk
kostenlos Reparatur oder Ersatz. Der Gewährleistungsanspruch erlischt, wenn das
Gerät unbefugt geöffnet wurde.

current protection of the DRCBO 2 and DRCBO 3 series
This installation and operating manual is aimed at qualified electri-
cal specialists. The installation of devices of this type is not appro-
priate for electrical laypersons due to the considerable potential
dangers. The installation and operating manual must be kept so that
it can be referred to at a later stage. The operator of the electrical
system must be informed about the application and function of this
protective device.
Application instructions and warnings
1. Devices with visible damage must not be installed or used.
2. Operation must only occur under normal ambient conditions free of
corrosive gases in order to preserve the correct tripping function in the long term.
Corrosive gases include chlorine, ammonia and sulphur.
3. The function test with the test key is not a substitute for regular testing of the system.
4. Erroneous tripping due to operation related leakage currents or atmospheric
interference cannot be ruled out with absolute certainty. The consequences must
be considered and countermeasures taken where necessary. Short-time delayed
or selective devices and surge protection measures and system optimisations can
provide a remedy.
5. If the RCBO cannot be switched on, even if the consumer network is not connect-
ed, the device must be replaced.
Intended use and mounting
Circuit-breakers of the DRCBO 3 series are residual current circuit-breakers with
integral overcurrent protection (RCBO), also referred to as "FI/LS combination".
They provide protection through automatic switch-off in electrical systems e.g. in
accordance with VDE 0100 part 410. They meet the requirements for both residual
current and line protection in accordance with their characteristics in the rating plate.
They are designed as modular DIN rail components for integration in distribution
boards or unit housings for installation on mounting rail TS 35. Protection against
direct contact according to protection class 2 must be ensured with the assistance of
the associated device covers.
A test key which is accessible to laypersons enables testing of the switch off
function. An occasional test can also increase the endurance of the circuit-breaker as
the mechanism is moved when tripped.
Installation notes
Assembly occurs by means of quick fastening on mounting rails. The connection
must be made in accordance with the wiring diagram. The terminal pairs 1/N and
2/N or 1/3 and 2/4 are to be used to connect the supply and the consumer network,
whereby the direction of energy flow is unrestricted.
Testing and functional check
A simple function test with the assistance of test key T must be undertaken
following switching on of the mains voltage and the circuit-breaker. The RCBO
must switch off when this is pressed. The toggle is in the zero position and the
tripped display "I Δ > I ΔN" (tripping by residual current) has a blue appearance.
The operating display beneath the toggle indicates the status of the contacts:
Red = closed, green = open.
This test must be carried out every six months, as a minimum, under normal
operating conditions and repeated every working day for non-stationary systems. If
tripping does not occur, the device must be replaced immediately. The operator must
be informed of this. All additional tests are covered by the prescribed inspection test.
Warranty
The usual statutory warranty period applies after the date of purchase by the end
user, provided the unit was professionally installed and has not been modified.
The warranty is not applicable to damage incurred during transport or caused by short-
circuit, overloading or improper use. In the event of defects in workmanship or materi-
al, which are discovered within the warranty period, the company will provide repair or
replacement free of charge. The warranty will be rendered null and void if the device
is opened without authorisation.

Tato příručka pro instalaci a provoz je určena pro kvalifikované elek-
trikáře. Vzhledem k možným nebezpečím není vhodné, aby instalaci
tohoto zařízení prováděly osoby bez příslušných odborných znalostí.
Je nutné příručku pro instalaci a provoz uchovat pro pozdější použití.
Operátor elektrického systému musí být informován o aplikaci a funkci
tohoto ochranného zařízení.
Pokyny pro použití a varování
1. Zařízení s viditelným poškozením nesmí být instalována nebo používána.
2. Aby byla dlouhodobě zachována správná funkce vypínání, musí se zařízení
provozovat za normálních podmínek okolí, ve kterém nejsou korozivní plyny.
Korozivní plyny obsahují chloridy, čpavek a síru.
3. Zkouška funkce zkušebním tlačítkem nenahrazuje pravidelné zkoušky systému.
4. Nelze s naprostou jistotou vyloučit chybné přepínání v důsledku provozem
vzniklého svodového proudu a atmosférické interference. Je nutné zvážit
důsledky a přijmout protiopatření. Nápravu mohou zjednat zařízení s krátkým
zpožděním nebo selektivní zařízení, opatření proti probíjení a organizace sys-
tému.
5. Pokud nelze RCBO zapnout, nebo pokud není spotřebitelská síť připojena, musí
být zařízení vyměněno.
Zamýšlené použití a montáž
Jističe řady DRCBO 3 jsou jističe pro zbytkový proud s integrovanou ochranou proti
nadproudu (RCBO), která se také nazývá „Kombinace FI/LS". Chrání automatickým
vypínáním elektrických systémů, např. ve spolupráci s VDE 0100 díl 410. Splňují po-
žadavky pro ochranu před zbytkovým proudem a ochranu vedení v souladu s vlast-
nostmi uvedenými na typovém štítku.
Jsou konstruovány jako modulární součásti DIN rail pro montáž v rozvaděčích nebo
pouzdrech pro instalaci na lištu TS 35. Pomocí krytů musí být zajištěna ochrana proti
přímému kontaktu podle třídy ochrany 2.
Zkušební tlačítko mohou používat osoby bez odborných znalostí pro zkoušení funkce
přepínání. Občasné zkoušky také zvyšují výdrž jističe, protože při přepnutí se me-
chanizmus pohne.
Poznámky pro instalaci
Montáž spočívá v rychlém připevnění na montážní lišty. Zapojení musí být prove-
deno podle schématu zapojení. Páry kontaktů 1/N a 2/N nebo 1/3 a 2/4 se používají
k propojení napájecí a spotřebitelské sítě, přičemž směr toku energie je libovolný.
Zkoušky a kontrola funkce
Po zapnutí napájení a jističe je nutné provést zkoušku funkce zkušeb-
ním tlačítkem. Po stisknutí tlačítka se musí RCBO rozpojit. Přepínač
je v nulové poloze a na displeji se modře zobrazí „I Δ > I ΔN" (přepnu-
tí zbytkovým proudem). Displej pod přepínačem indikuje stav kontaktů:
červený = sepnutý, zelený = rozepnutý.
Tato zkouška se musí provést při normálních provozních podmínkách nejméně jed-
nou za šest měsíců a musí se opakovat každý den u nestacionárních systémů. Pokud
nedojde k přepnutí, musí se zařízení okamžitě vyměnit. Operátor musí být o tomto
informován. Další zkoušky jsou pokryty předepsanou inspekcí.
Záruka
Obvyklá záruka ze zákona začíná běžet ode dne zakoupení koncovým uživatelem
a podmínkou je, že bylo zařízení profesionálně instalováno a nebylo upravováno.
Záruka se nevztahuje na poškození, ke kterému došlo při přepravě nebo bylo způ-
sobeno zkratem, přetížením nebo nesprávným použitím. V případě vad zpracování
nebo materiálu, které byly odhaleny v záruční lhůtě, společnost provede opravu nebo
výměnu zdarma. Záruka pozbývá platnosti, pokud je zařízení otevřeno neoprávně-
nou osobou.
