Do not disassemble the product (except for removing the re-
chargeable battery prior to disposal of the solar unit). Only
have the product repaired by a qualifi ed workshop or by cus-
tomer service.
If a rechargeable battery has leaked, ensure that the battery
acid does not come into contact with your skin, eyes, and mu-
cous membranes. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse
the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and
seek immediate medical attention.
Rechargeable batteries may not be disassembled, disposed of
in fi re, immersed in liquids or short circuited.
Do not allow the product to fall and do not subject it to severe
percussions.
Do not use the product if it exhibits damages.
Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! It is only
splash-proof.
In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g. storm, hail) or
if you do not intend to use the product for a prolonged period of
time, turn it off and store it in a dry place.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to
clean the product! They could damage the surface.

Start-up
PLEASE NOTE:
The rechargeable battery of the solar unit must charge for ap-
prox. 6 to 8 hours in order for the laser lights to illuminate.
To enable an automatic activation of the product, it should not
be situated near other light sources such as street lamps or
other lamps.

Ensure that the solar fi eld is always clean in order to ensure
the greatest possible collection of light. Therefore, clean it oc-
casionally with a damp cloth.
1. Unpack the product contents and remove any protective foils
(e.g. from the solar fi eld). Check all parts for any damages from
transport. Should you identify any transport damages, please
promptly consult customer service.
2. Turn on the solar light by moving the On/Off switch on the bot-
tom of the solar unit to one of the three positions: R for red laser
light or FLASH for fl ashing red laser light. Now the rechargeable
battery of the solar unit can charge during the daytime via the
solar fi eld. At dusk, the light will automatically turn on. At dawn,
the light will turn off and the rechargeable battery will again be
recharged via the solar fi eld.
3. Position the solar light in a place where the solar fi eld can col-
lect direct sunlight the whole day preferably (open areas, not
in the shade etc.). Align the solar fi eld in the optimum position.
Make sure that the solar light is not pointing into the visual fi eld
of persons (public routes, roads, windows etc.).
4. Use the ground spike to place the solar light in the garden,
fl ower bed etc.
5. To switch off the solar unit, move the On/Off switch to the OFF
position.

Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-
aging in an environmentally-friendly manner and make it
available to the collection service for recyclable materials.
Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly man-
ner. The product does not belong in the household garbage.
Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old electric and elec-
tronic equipment. For more information, please contact the
administration in your community.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must be removed and
disposed of separately before disposing of the product. To
protect the environment, batteries and rechargeable batter-
ies may not be disposed of together with normal household
waste. Instead they must be turned in at appropriate collec-
tion points. Be sure to observe applicable legal regulations
on battery disposal.
Removing the rechargeable battery: Loosen the screws on
the bottom of the solar unit and remove the cover. After-
wards, you can carefully remove the rechargeable battery
and dispose of it.
