Mit dem Netzteil versorgen Sie Ihre Anlage mit einer konstanten Ausgangsspannung in Höhe von
16 V DC. Das Netzteil kann maximal 36 VA (2,25 A) als Leistung abgeben.
Bei einer Funktionsstörung durch z. B. Überlastung (ca. 3 A) oder Kurzschluss wird der elektronische
Überlastungsschutz ausgelöst und schaltet automatisch die Ausgangsspannung ab. In diesem Fall
sollten Sie Ihren Regler zurückdrehen (auf „0" – Position) und ggf. auch das Netzteil von der
Versorgungsspannung 230 V AC (Haushaltssteckdose) trennen. Nach erneuter Inbetriebnahme ist
das Steckernetzteil wieder voll funktionsfähig.
Sämtliche technischen Daten zum Netzteil befinden sich auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes.
Power Supply #55006 Installation instructions
Technical Details:
Input: 230 V AC 50 Hz
Output: 16 V DC 36 VA
With the power supply you provide your system with a constant output voltage of
16 V DC. The power supply has a maximum output of 36 VA (2.25 A).
In case of a malfunction caused by overloading (approx. 3 A) or a short-circuit, for example, the over-
load protection is triggered and automatically deactivates the output voltage. In this case, you should
set your controller back (to the "0" position) and disconnect the power supply device from the 230V
AC supply voltage (household mains socket), if appropriate. The plug power supply functions fully
again after it has been taken back into operation.
All of the technical data of the power supply device is on the device rating plate.
Connecting the power supply :
Connect your system (track, accessories, etc.) as described in the operating instructions for the
55008 controller. Now insert the hollow plug into the hollow plug jack in the 55008 controller.
(please refer to the top image, Nos. 1-3)
Important! Always ensure that the hollow plug is firmly seated in the jack. Only use devices which
are conform to the rating of the power supply device. Your controller and plug power supply device
could be damaged or not function correctly.

sind. Sie erstreckt sich nicht auf eventuelle entstandene Versandkosten.

Anschluss des Netzteils:
Schließen Sie entsprechend der Bedienungsanleitung des Reglers 55008 Ihre Anlage (Gleis,
Zubehör, etc.) an. Stecken Sie nun den Hohlstecker in die Hohlsteckerbuchse des Reglers 55008.
(siehe Bild oben, Punkt 1-3)
Wichtig! Beachten Sie stets, dass der Hohlstecker richtig fest in der Buchse sitzt. Verwenden Sie
nur den Kenndaten des Schaltnetzteiles entsprechende Geräte. Ihr Regler / bzw. Steckernetzteil
könnte beschädigt werden bzw. nicht korrekt funktionieren.

È Bitte bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf, da sie wichtige Informationen enthält.
È Das Netzgerät ist kein Spielzeug. Nicht geeignet für Kinder unter 14 Jahren.
È Das Netzgerät dient ausschließlich dem Betrieb von Modellbahnanlagen und Zubehör.
È Verwenden Sie das Netzgerät nur in geschlossenen, trockenen Räumen.
È Schließen Sie das Netzgerät nur an eine Steckdose mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen
Netzspannung an.
È Stecken Sie das Netzgerät erst in die Steckdose, nachdem Sie alle Verbraucher angeschlossen
haben. Kurzschlussgefahr.
È Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzgerät vor Nässe (Tropf- und Spritzwasser) geschützt wird.
È Schließen Sie nur Geräte an, die für die Verwendung mit diesem Netzgerät vorgesehen sind.
È Schließen Sie den Hohlstecker am einen Ende der Anschlussleitung nie kurz.
È Vor der Reinigung alle angeschlossenen Produkte vom Netzgerät und dieses vom Stromnetz trennen.
È Berühren Sie nie die blanken Metallteile an der Hohlsteckerbuchse der Anschlussleitung, wenn
das Netzgerät am Netz angeschlossen ist.
È Führen Sie niemals die Hohlsteckerbuchse der Anschlussleitung in eine Netzsteckdose ein.
È Ziehen Sie das Netzgerät nie an der Anschlussleitung sondern nur am Gehäuse aus der Steck-
dose.
È Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig das Netzgerät und die Anschlussleitung auf etwaige Beschädigungen.
È Falls das Netzgerät oder die äußere Anschlussleitung beschädigt ist, sollte das Netzgerät ver-
schrottet werden. Das Netzgerät ist nicht reparabel und die äußere Anschlussleitung des
Netzgeräts kann nicht ersetzt werden.

È Only use the power supply in dry rooms.
È Only connect the power supply to a socket which has the voltage stated on the rating plate of the
power supply.
È Remove the power supply plug from the socket before connecting electrical consumers (e.g. track
connection, points switching, lighting, etc.) Danger of short circuit.
È Only use official acessories for this power supply.
È Don't short-circuit the hollow plug.
È Disconnect all connected products from the power supply and the power supply from the mains
before carrying out cleaning work.
È Never touch the uncoated metal parts of the connected connecting cable if the power supply is
connected to the mains.
È Never insert the female hollow plug of the connecting cable into a mains socket.
È Protect the supply from dripping or splashing.
È Never pull the power supply power plug out of the main s socket by the cable, but only remove the plug.
È Inspect the power plug, power connecting cable and the housing of the power supply at regular
intervals for signs of damage.
È A damaged power supply or cable must be trashed. The power supply including the wiring cannot
be repaired or be replaced.

We guarantee that the specified product is free from faults in materials or workmanship. If
nevertheless a justifiable claim arises within two years from the date of purchase we guarantee to
make repairs free of charge. In this case return the article to PIKO together with the receipt issued by
your model rail dealer. The PIKO transformer is subject to stringent safety regulations and may only
be opened and repaired by the manufacturer.
Any contravention will lead to loss of all guarantees and a general refusal to repair the product.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect handling. It does not cover any transport
costs.
