Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using the same frequency can reduce
the transmission range.
• The range of all wireless equipment depends on the type of
obstacles located between the transmitter and the receiver
(e.g. a concrete wall will interfere with the signal more than
a plasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try the following:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment and check if this
is the cause of the problem.
• Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten the distance
between the sending and receiving devices and reduce
the number of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc.) between them.
What is a radio controlled clock?
A radio controlled clock is an extremely accurate timekeeping
device. In Europe, the time is controlled by the atomic clock in
Braunschweig, Germany (accuracy ±1 second per 1 million years).
The clock has a built -in radio receiver that decodes the incoming
atomic clock signal (long wave 77.5 kHz). The product also has
a precisely calibrated quartz clock movement with a frequency
of 32 kHz that keeps it running. The transmitter in Germany has
an official range of 2,000 km. In the case of Sweden, signals
received north of the city of Umeå are considered unreliable.
Safety
• The clock is for indoor use only.
• Do not place the product where there is a risk of it falling into
water or other liquid.
• Do not place the clock in damp, dusty environments or where
there is an occurrence of strong vibrations.
• Do not expose the clock to extreme high or low temperatures.
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.

Battery
1. Open the battery compartment by pulling it straight out and
remove any protective insulating film. The insulating film is used
to maintain battery capacity during transport and storage.
2. Slide the battery compartment back into place.
Operating instructions
• Whenever batteries are inserted an audible signal will be
emitted, indicating that the time signal scan has begun.
• If a signal has been received, both the time and date will be set
automatically. The current region will also be shown.
• The signal strength indicator ranges from 1 (weak) to 5 (strong)
found in upper left hand corner of the display.
• Automatic time signal scan occurs 4 times a day:
01:01, 02:01, 03:01 and 04:01 am.
• If the time signal can not be received, the time signal icon will
disappear. In such cases both time and date must be set manually.
