Safety
• The temperature sensor must not be dismantled or
modified in any way.
• The batteries should be removed from the temperature sensor
if it is not to be used for an extended period, otherwise they
might leak and damage the sensor. Never leave discharged
batteries in the battery compartment.
• Do not expose the temperature sensor to impacts.
NOTE:
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of
different types.
Do not mix alkaline, regular or rechargeable batteries.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product
should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout
the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm to
the environment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, the product must
be handed in for recycling so that the material
can be disposed of in a responsible manner.
When recycling your product, take it to your
local collection facility or contact the place of
purchase. They will ensure that the product is
disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Installation
Batteries and channel selection
1. Slide the battery cover downwards in the direction of
the arrow to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately) observing
the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
3. Channel selection:
- Set the channel selector to position 1 if only one sensor is
to be used with your thermometer/weather station.
- Set the channel selector to position 2 if you are already
using one sensor with your thermometer/weather station.
- Set the channel selector to position 3 if you are already
using two sensors with your thermometer/weather station.
4. Click the battery cover back into place.
Placement
1. Place the sensor in a location that is protected from direct
sunlight and rain.
2. Mount the sensor at least 2.5 m above ground, if possible.
3. Screw a screw into a suitable mounting surface and hang
the sensor on it using the wall bracket (2).

Synchronising the sensor with a weather station/
thermometer (main unit)
1. Press and hold in [ CH/▲ ] on the main unit (sold separately) until
the signal icon begins to flash. The main unit will begin searching for

the outdoor sensor.
2. Press [ CH/▲ ] repeatedly until the desired channel appears on

the display of the main unit.
- Choose CH 1 if channel 1 has been selected on the temperature sensor.

- Choose CH 2 if channel 2 has been selected on the temperature sensor.
- Choose CH 3 if channel 3 has been selected on the temperature sensor.
3. After a short moment, the readings from the sensor will appear on
the display of the main unit.
• The main unit should receive data from the sensor and display the temperature

within 3 minutes of the batteries having been inserted in both devices.
• Refer to the Troubleshooting section if there is a problem.

Frequency
• Check the batteries in the main unit and sensor/s.
• Check that the distance between the thermometer
and sensor does not exceed 30 m.
• Make sure that the devices are located at least 2 m
from monitors and TV sets.
• Avoid placing the devices on or close to window
frames made of metal.
• Avoid using electronic devices such as loudspeakers
which operate at the same frequency (433 MHz),
close to the devices.
• Check the batteries in the thermometer and any
connected sensors.
• Remove the batteries, wait awhile and then reinsert them.
• Remove the batteries, wait awhile and then reinsert them.
• Make sure that the devices are not affected by heat
sources or air-conditioning units and such.
