Montageanleitung ABS/EBS-Stecker
1. Mehradriges Kabel durch Abschlusskappe (Teil 2) und Topfdichtung (Teil 4) schieben (Gleitmittel empfehlenswert).
2. Kabel ca. 50 mm abmanteln. Die einzelnen Adern 7 mm abisolieren.
3. 2 x Kontakthülse mit 3 Kennrillen (Teil 3.3) an Einzeladern 6 mm² crimpen oder 2 x Kontakthülse mit 2 Kennrillen (Teil
3.1) an Einzeladern 4 mm² crimpen. 5 x Kontakthülse ohne Kennrillen (Teil 3.2) an Einzeladern 1,5 mm² crimpen.
Achtung: Schieber an der Handcrimpzange mittels Handrad auf richtigen Leiterquerschnitt einstellen. Bei 1,5 mm² auf
Stellung 1,5, bei 6 mm² auf Stellung 6, bei 4mm² auf Stellung 4. Die Litzen müssen nach dem Crimpen durch das Kont-
roll-Loch sichtbar sein.
4. Klemmstück (Teil 3.5) in Zugentlastungsschelle (Teil 3.6) einstecken. Zugentlastungsschelle mit Klemmstück mittels
der 2 Linsenschrauben (Teil 3.8) und Sechskantmuttern (Teil 3.7) in Abschlusskappe (Teil 2) montieren.
Achtung: Zugentlastungsschelle noch nicht fest anziehen!
5. Werden die Kontakte für Pol 6 und 7 nicht bestückt, dann 2x Blindstopfen (Teil 3.4) in Kontakteinsatz (Teil 5) eindrü-
cken.
6. Die an Einzelader Nr. 1 angecrimpte Kontakthülse in Kammer Nr. 1 des vorverrasteten Kontakteinsatzes (Teil 5) bis
zum Anschlag einschieben. Entsprechend ist mit den restlichen Kontakthülsen zu verfahren. Nun den vorverrasteten
Kontakteinsatz durch Zusammendrücken verrasten.
Achtung: Falls Verrastung nicht möglich, prüfen, ob alle Kontakthülsen bis zum Anschlag eingeschoben sind.
7. Kontakteinsatz (Teil 5) in Steckkörper (Teil 1) einschieben.
Achtung: Teile sind codiert, nur eine Stellung möglich.
8. Abschlusskappe (Teil 2) an Steckkörper (Teil 1) schieben.
Achtung: Auch hier durch Codierung nur eine Stellung möglich.
Achtung: Topfdichtung (Teil 4) muss vollständig auf der Ummantelung des Kabels sitzen und nicht auf den einzelnen
Adern.
9. Abschlusskappe (Teil 2) mittels der 4 Linsenblechschrauben (Teil 3.9) an Steckkörper (Teil 1) mit einem Drehmoment
von 3-3,5Nm festschrauben. Die Montage wird erleichtert, wenn der äußere Rand der Topfdichtung (Teil 4) mit Gleitmit-
tel versehen wird.
10. Zugentlastungsschelle (siehe Punkt 4) nun fest anziehen.
11. Abschließend Sicht- und Funktionsprüfung vornehmen.

Mounting instruction for ABS/EBS plug
1. Slide the multi-core cable through cover plate (piece no. 2) and pot sealing (piece no. 4). (A sliding means is recom-
mended).
2. Strip the cable by about 50 mm. Strip the individual cores by 7 mm.
3. Crimp two contact sleeves with 3 identification grooves (piece no.3.3) to the single cores of 6 mm² or crimp two contact
sleeves with 2 identification grooves (piece no.3.1) to the single cores of 4 mm². Crimp 5 contact sleeves without identi-
fication grooves (piece no.3.2) to the single cores of 1,5 mm².
Attention: Adjust the slider of the crimping tool to the right core size by using the handwheel. With size 1.5 mm², adjust
it to position 1,5, with size 4 mm², adjust it to position 4, with size 6 mm², adjust it to position 6. After being crimped, the
cores must be visible through the inspection hole.
4. Put the clamp (piece no. 3.5) into the strain relief clamp (piece no.3.6). Mount the strain relief clamp with the clamp by
means of the two oval-head screws (piece no. 3.8) and hexagon nuts (piece

5. In case that contacts for pin 6 and 7 are not used, push 2 x stuff plug (piece no. 3.4) in contact insert (piece no. 5 ).
6. Push the contact sleeve crimped to the single core no.1 into chamber 1 of the contact insert (piece no. 5) locked at first
stage until the stop is reached. Do the same with the remaining contact sleeves. Now lock the contact insert by press-
ing it together so that it is locked at final stage.
Attention: If locking is not possible, check whether all contact sleeves are pushed in until the stop is reached.
7. Push the contact insert (piece no. 5) into the connector housing (piece no. 1).
Attention: The pieces are coded, only one position is possible.
8. Push the cover plate (piece no. 2) to the connector housing (piece no. 1).
Attention: Owing to coding, here also only one position is possible.
Attention: The pot sealing (piece no. 4) must be located fully on the cable coating, not on the single cores.
9. Screw up the cover plate (piece no.2) to the connector housing (piece no.1) by means of the 4 oval-head screws (piece
no.3.9) with a starting torque of 3-3,5Nm. Mounting is easier when the outer edge of the pot sealing (piece no.4) is
treated with a sliding means.
10. Now tighten the strain relief clamp (see article 4.) firmly.
11. Carry out a final visual examination and functional testing.
