Intended use
The appliance must be used only for ironing
garments which are suitable for ironing according
to the care label. Never iron or dampen garments
while wearing them.
Before fi rst use
The fi rst time the appliance is turned on you may
notice smoke/smell. This is normal and will stop
after the iron has been used a few times.

SI 95xx: follow the instructions on the back side of
the iron.
eco
It is suggested for most delicate garments like syn-
thetics, silk and blended fabrics. This mode allows
less power consumption.
Normal
It is suggested for garments like wool, polyester
and cotton/linen.
turbo
It is suggested for garments that need more power-
ful steam, like thick cotton/linen and jeans.
Descaling
release button when the iron is plugged in (in hot
condition) to avoid hot steam coming out of the
appliance.
• When the appliance needs to be descaled, the
indicator LED (6) starts fl ashing for 45 seconds.
During this time the soleplate is not heating up.
• Do not use commercial decalcifi ers, they may
damage the iron.
• We recommend to perform once a year a deep
cleaning of the calc collector using vinegar.

Press the water tank lid and check if it is closed
Select a higher temperature
setting.
Take longer intervals when pressing the steam shot button.
