Safety instructions

This measuring instrument fulfills the applicable standards of
European and national guidelines and has been constructed in
accordance with state of the art technology. Pay close attenti-
on to the instructions and information contained in the opera-
ting instructions in order to ensure safe utilisation.
Devices exhibiting any technical defects or damage must
not be used.
Before conducting each measurement make sure that
there are no electrical wires or other supply lines in the mea-
suring area.
Do not measure by, in or on metallic surfaces and objects.
The determined measurement results and all conclusions
are exclusively the responsibility of the user. We shall not
assume any liability for damage resulting from improper use
of the device.
If there are any doubts with regard to the operating relia-
bility of the device, it must be returned to the producer for
re-checks.
• Do not remove or modify any of the product labels.
• The Contact Check moisture sensor is not a toy. Always keep
it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the device in the presence of children or allow
children to operate the device.
• Do not use on metal and/or energised surfaces, such as steel
sheets.
• Always disconnect the sensor from the HPM touch pro if it is
not in use.
• Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the sensor. Any
repair work required on the moisture sensor must be perfor-
med by STORCH's authorised after-sales service.
• Do not operate the sensor in explosive environments, for
example, in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
• Use of accessories that have been designed for other moi-
sture measuring devices may result in serious injury.
