2. Installation and connection

Before commissioning the light, ensure that it has not been damaged in transit.
WARNING!
● The light must not be operated if it is damaged.
● The sauna lamp may only be installed and connected when the
power supply is disconnected.
2.1. Installation
Keep the lamp housing in the desired installation position and mark the boreholes.
Use appropriate screws to secure the light.
Ensure that no cables are damaged.
Conduct the power supply leads through the aperture of the lamp housing. Ensure that
the lead is cleanly and tightly conducted through the seal.
Now connect the connection cables of the domestic electrical installation to the screw
terminals of the light. First connect the green-yellow earth wire and then the two other
wires. As a rule, the brown (or black) cable is the live wire, connect this to the terminal
marked with 'L'. The blue conductor must be connected to the terminal marked with 'N'.
Do not kink the cable; please ensure that the cable and plug are free from attractive and torsional forces.
Protect all cables and insulations from possible damage.

Install the bulb (see 3.1. Changing the bulb on page 5).
The rating plate must not be removed.
