3. Unpack and check

3.1 Unpacking the product

WARNING
Risk of suffocation from packaging mate-
rial and from swallowing small parts.
►Dispose of the packaging material in
the household waste according to re-
gulations.
►Store the packaging and small parts re-
quired for repackaging away from mois-
ture and out of reach of children.
NOTICE
Material damage.
Pointed, sharp and scratching objects
can damage the product when opening
the packaging.
►Do not use any pointed, sharp or scrat-
ching objects to open the packaging
►Be careful with the following work.
1. Pull off tape and tie-down straps by hand or
use scissors.
2. Set the box up with the directional arrows po-
inting up.
3. Open the packing carton.
4. Remove all parts from the box.
5. Lay the pieces side by side on a clear, soft,
and level surface.
6. Check the scope of delivery for completeness
and intactness, see chapter "14. Part list" on
page 43.

3.2 Checking the scope of delivery

NOTICE
Material damage.
Using defective parts or parts that are in-
complete can damage the product.
►Check the scope of delivery for com-
pleteness and integrity.
►Do not use the product with missing or
broken parts.

4. Mounting

NOTICE
Damage to the product due to incorrect
assembly.
►Assemble the product completely and
safely.
►Do not use electric screwdrivers during
assembly.
►Do not force the screws into the drill holes.
►Assemble the product with a second
person.
►Screw the screws into the mounting ho-
les, tighten the screws only in the last
step to prevent the frame parts from
jamming.

4.1 Place of installation

1. Select a suitable installation location that
meets the following requirements:
• The installation location is dry and can be venti-
lated regularly.
• The installation site is not permanently exposed
to the sun and strong temperature fluctuations.
• The subsurface of the installation site is level and
non-slip.
2. Follow the assembly steps shown, observing
the safety instructions, see "15. Assembly" on
page 45.

4.2 Connecting the electronics

WARNING
Risk of electric shock, fire, short circuit
Damaged cables can cause short circuit, fire
and electric shock.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable.
► The power supply unit must be freely accessible
at all times.
CAUTION
Risk of tripping.
►Prevent tripping hazards from the power ca-
ble by routing it safely.
