Preparing the appliance for use

Check if the voltage indicated on the base of
the appliance corresponds to the mains
voltage in your home before you connect the
appliance.
We advise you to clean the cone and jug
before you use the appliance for the first time
(see 'Cleaning').
This appliance is intended for household use
only.
Do not let the appliance run for more than
10 minutes without interruption.
1 Put the plug in the wall socket.
2 If necessary, store excess cord in the base
of the appliance.
3 Put the appliance on a firm, level surface
outside the reach of children.

Using the appliance

1 Remove the dust cover from the
appliance.
2 Switch the appliance on by pressing a
halved fruit firmly onto the cone.
