Getting started
Mount stand
Insert the supplied stand (11) with the straight side all the way into the stand holder (10) on the
back of the boogie.
Charging the battery
Boogie is equipped with an internal rechargeable lithium-Ion battery. Connect the Micro USB cable
with the micro USB charging port (8) of the Boogie. The cable can be connected to a computer or
a standard USB power adapter. The red LED (6) of Boogie lights up while charging.
The normal charging time is 2-3 hours. The red LED (6) turns off when fully charged. The cable
can be disconnected.
Note: Charge Boogie for at least 2.5 hours before initial use.
Switching On /Off
Switch on: When powered off, press and hold the right side ( ) of the multifunction button (5).
Switch off: Press and hold the right side ( ) of the multifunction button (5).
Pairing
Boogie must be paired with a Bluetooth
®
device before use.
This is a two part process; fi rst part is carried out on the Speaker and the second is carried out on
the other Bluetooth
®
device.
Note: Please note that different mobile phones may require different pairing methods.
1. Make sure that Boogie is powered off, press the right side ( ) of the multifunction button (5).
The Speaker turns on and the pairing mode will start.
2. Use your mobile phone, computer or another Bluetooth

audio devices.

3. The Bluetooth
device should indicate that it has found „Boogie".

4. Confi rm pairing with Boogie. Enter „0000" if you are asked for a pairing code.
If you are unsure about the pairing procedure of your Bluetooth
device manual.
If using a Bluetooth® transmitter without display, set it to pairing mode and wait a few seconds
until the connection with Boogie is established.
Note: If the connection is lost or the transmitter is temporarily disconnected, Boogie automatically
tries to restore the connection. If the connection cannot be restored after 3 seconds, try again by
pressing the multifunction button (5) for two seconds.

Connect a second Boogie speaker
In Bluetooth
®
mode, it is possible to connect a second Boogie speaker wirelessly to
achieve excellent stereo sound.
To connect two boogie speakers together, turn on both devices at the same time. The de-
vices start in pairing mode and connect after 2-3 seconds. Now switch on your previously
with one of both Boogie Speaker paired mobile phone (Description of pairing see above),
and activate the Bluetooth
function. The device will automatically connect. The adjust-

ment of the volume and the music control is done only via one of the two speakers.

Musik playback
Music playback via Bluetooth
®
Start music playback on the Bluetooth
source which is paired with the Boogie. The music is
®
transferred to the Boogie. Stop the music playback on the Bluetooth
streaming.
Note: The device must support the A2DP profi le for music streaming and AVRCP profi le for
music remote control. Redial is deactivated during music playback.

Play music from memory card
Insert a memory card with audio data into the TF socket (3) of the boogie. The data stored on the
memory card will be played immediately.
Play music from USB memory
Insert a USB stick with audio data or a USB cable, connected with a Audio source to the USB
socket (9) of the boogie. The stored audio data will be played immediately.
Music control
To play or stop music playback, briefl y press the left side ( ) of the multifunction button (5).
To skip to the previous track, press the previous track button (4).
To skip to the next track, press the next track button (7).
Hands-free features
With its built-in microphone and intelligent noise reduction, the Boogie is perfectly suitable for
phone calls.
Answer/end/reject calls
To accept an incoming call, briefl y press the multifunction button (5).
To end a call in progress, briefl y press the multifunction button (5).
To reject incoming calls, press and hold the multifunction button (5) for 2-3 seconds.
Adjusting the Volume
To increase the volume, press and hold the volume + button (7) until the desired volume is
reached.
To decrease the volume, press and hold the volume - button (4) until the desired volume is
reached.
