7. DIP-Switch Settings
There are one 4-Pin DIP-Switch inside on the EX-6131. To do this, you need to unscrew the two
screws on the sides of the EX-6131 and loosen the top case. In most cases you do not have to
make any changes to the DIP-Switch! The DIP-Switch are set to "OFF" when shipped from the
factory. Please refer to the following figure on page 13 where the switch is located on the board.
From the following tables on page 13 you can see the setting of the DIP-switches.
Important!
RS-422 & RS-485 4-wire: The switch pins are defined as follows:
Pin-1: Enable the 1K-Pull-Up-Resistor of the RX+
Pin-2: Enable the 1K-Pull-Down-Resistor of the RX-
Pin-3: Enable the 120 Ohm termination resistor between RX+ and RX-
